ボディステップ124コリオ覚え書き
BODYSTEP124で一番注目すべき曲(と個人的に思っている)、Conditioning 1のDynamiteで出てくる動きはWarm Upでも出てくるので、ここで覚えておきましょう。
3パルスランジに合わせて、①両手カール②上下にリーチ(膝側の手が下)③両手カール、と動きます。Warm Upでは左右交互ですが、Dynamiteでは同じ側だけ続けます。
Peak 1ではおなじみのスプリットシャッフル、台の高さがあるので普段以上に体重を台側の足に乗せるイメージを持たないと踵が浮いてしまいます、しっかり前傾姿勢を保ちましょう。
Mixed Strengthはおそらく今回のナンバーで最も大変なコリオ、最初のランジとスクワットのコンビネーションの時点で訳が分かりません。
[1-6]サイドスクワット1.5往復(台側の手のひらを前にプッシュ)[7-8]台側の足を引いてランジ[9-10]台側へ90度ターン[11-14]両足で台にジャンプオン、オフ[15-16]正面へ90度ターンしてランジ、となります。
後半はTT兄弟のようなポーズが入ります、バーピーからのジャンプのタイミングで台に乗りながらTポーズ、となります。かなりリズムが速いのでポーズまで無理しないようにしてください。
ちなみにポーズのときの足ですが、つま先立ちでつま先を前後に重ねるようにするといいです。
Dynamiteは曲の楽しさとは裏腹におもりを持つのであれこれ遊べません、、、
コリオはWarm Upで練習した内容を片側で行います。台に乗せた足は横へタップ。
最後は急いでおもりを片手に寄せて、右手で前を指さし!
Party StepはKaraokeという曲目の通りカラオケポーズが入ります。が、これはツイストニーに手がつくだけなので昔からボディステップに出ている方なら問題ないと思います。
むしろ問題なのはその前のコリオ、フラップアームのところです。このコリオは足をいつ閉じればいいのか、いつ台から降りたらいいのか完全に迷子のコリオです。
[1-2]台でワイドウォーク左右(手首をかえすフラップアームで)[3]ワイドスクワットダウン[4]両足閉じてアップ[5-8]床で4歩歩く、となります。足を開いたままダウン、閉じながらアップ、のところが分かりにくいですね。
Peak 3のコリオはどちらかというとPeak1で出てきそうな動きです。パワーニーを前後に1往復、オーバーザトップからのシャッフルのコンビネーションです。
この曲で注意したいのがこのコンビネーションからのオーバーへのつなぎのところです。
通常のリズムだと床に降りる方から始まりますが、今回は台に乗る方から始まるのでなんだか一拍ズレたような感じになります。しかも、最初の練習、1セット目、2セット目でつなぎのタイミングが変わるのでこれまたややこしい。
最初と2セット目は乗って、降りて、乗ってのオーバー(リード足チェンジ)、1セット目は乗ったらすぐにオーバー(チェンジなし)に入ります。
最後は台の右側で決めポーズ!

2021年10月リリースのBS124について、いくつか情報をまとめてみました。
プログラムディレクターのMark Nuu氏が自身のInstagramで練習の様子やフィルミングについて触れていますので、気になる方はそちらをチェック!
曲リストで気になるのはやはりDynamiteですね!K-POPが入ってくるとレズミルズの音楽も大分変わってくると思います。この他BS53−10、BS76−05のリバイバルになるWhoomp(There It Is)もどんな感じになるのか期待しています。
ボディステップ124のSizzler動画が上がっていたのでそのご紹介と、動画を参考に各曲のコリオを整理しました。
フィルミングは本拠地オークランドで行われたようですね。しかもCOVID-19の影響を意識したのか、有観客で行っていますがスタジオと屋上特設会場の二元中継という新しいスタイルで実施されています。屋上会場の参加者はプレゼンターの動きをスクリーン越しに見る形になりますが、ちゃんと屋上にも別のインストラクターがいらっしゃるので安心して動けそうです。
さて、それではコリオについて。
ウォームアップ2曲はこれまでと同様にスクワットやランジがメイン動作のようです。
Peak 1はスプリットシャッフルの動き、台が高い状態で行うので、ちゃんと足全体でステップ台を踏むことを意識する必要があります。
Mixed StrengthではあのTT兄弟のようなポーズが入ります笑、ボディアタックのPPAPの前例はありますが、流石にTT兄弟はないか(どうしてもそう見えてしまう、、)バーピーからのジャンプのタイミングで台に乗りながらTポーズ、というコリオです!
Conditioning1はDynamite、両手にプレートを持って行うので残念ながら踊ることは出来なさそうです。パルスランジしながら、アームカール、両手を上下に伸ばす、という動作が入ります。
パーティステップは曲名がKaraokeということで、片手でマイクを持って、体をツイストしながらシャウト!みたいな感じのコリオが用意されています♪
Peak3は前後のニーリフト、オーバーからシャッフルという動作。なんだか似た動きがあったな、と思ったらBS103−04のcrazyとほぼ一緒の動きです。
